Foundations & Fundamentals Series
with Karen Carlson and Lea Yeager

Having an understanding of foundational movement patterns that undergird the Pilates Method exercises, allows teachers to set clients up for success, moving from basic to advanced exercises. Taken from her former two-year advanced teacher-training program, Master Teacher Karen Carlson will identify and clarify these patterns in this three-part series. The major themes will include Skeletal Alignment, Intrinsic Muscular Recruitment, Neuro-Muscular Coordination, and Functional Movement. This is an opportunity to be exposed to one of THE BEST minds currently working in the Pilates Method and Functional Movement fields

- don’t miss out!

In follow-up workshops, Lea Yeager, Carlson’s student and assistant for 20 years and director of SpringHaus Pilates Studio, will teach exercises associated with the functional breakdown presented in each of Carlson’s preceding workshops. These exercises can be incorporated into group and private sessions. All workshops will be presented at SpringHaus Pilates Studio in center city Philadelphia. These workshops offer valuable information either taken as a whole series, or as individual units.
