Lea Yeager, founder of SpringHaus Pilates & Wellness, has been teaching Pilates and movement for nearly 30 years. She holds a BFA in Dance from Temple University and performed, taught, and choreographed extensively. She worked as a strength and conditioning trainer and began teacher-training studies in Pilates and Yoga in 1999. In 2002, it was her great fortune to be invited to study and work with her mentor, Pilates Master Trainer, Karen H. Carlson. After completing Carlson’s highly rigorous, 2 year advanced Pilates teacher-training program in 2004, she became the coordinator for Carlson’s education program, assisted her in workshops in the US and Canada, and continued working side by side with her until 2020. In 2021, Yeager received her license in massage therapy, and uses this knowledge in support of her clients’ movement experience. Her continued education over the last twenty years has included studies in anatomy, functional movement, human dissection, and scoliosis. She believes the intelligence, beauty and efficacy of the Pilates method is best experienced when rooted in the science of anatomy and kinesiology. She brings attention to detail and creativity to her work and enjoys a diverse clientele of human/bodies, helping them to find joy and fitness in movement.
LEA YEAGER
she/her

Patricia’s background in both dance & athletics influences her Pilates teaching, focusing on form and incorporating fun and inventive twists to the classical work. Her goal is that by sharing knowledge about the body, it will empower clients to continue on their own. She received her Pilates certification through the Drexel Pilates Training Program in 2012, with director Jennifer Morely. In 2017 and 2020 she completed a 2-year graduate level teacher training with Master teacher Karen Carlson. Both teachers have had an enormous impact on Patricia’s education and development as a Pilates instructor, including Carlson’s lifelong research of the biomechanical breakdown of the classical Pilates work into functional families which heavily influences Patricia’s teaching.
